The Pop Star Plays a Hell Version of Herself in Fictional Documentary Preview
The Grammy-winning artist is getting ready for a major film presence in 2026, starting with the fictional documentary titled The Moment.
Throughout the movie, Charli plays what she calls as a dark version of her own persona.
It’s the most authentic portrayal of the entertainment world that I’ve ever encountered, the performer commented.
She elaborated in a discussion: It’s far from a live performance documentary, but the idea stemmed from the pressure to create one.
An Early Look into The Film
The initial preview, launched on this week, mixes real clips from Charli’s Sweat tour with fictionalized off-stage interactions.
The film is overseen and co-authored by her collaborator, who revealed that the narrative revolves around a reality where the artist took completely different paths throughout the promotion of her chart-topping release Brat.
