Aircraft Spins Out of Control into Palm Groves at Frequented California Beach
A chopper soaring over a crowded southern California beach abruptly commenced twirling uncontrollably, ultimately descending rapidly and smashing into a line of palm groves as onlookers looked on.
Videos uploaded on social media capture the chopper beginning to twirl near the shoreline then falling in the direction of the edge of the coast, where it gets stuck between palm groves and a staircase near the Pacific Coast highway.
First Aid Details
Local firefighters reported five individuals were rushed to the hospital comprising a pair who were in the aircraft and were “extracted safely from the crash site” subsequent to the crash on the weekend.
Three people on the street were hurt. Specifics on their condition were still under review.
The reason for the accident was still under investigation.
